These artworks, focused on the Matariki constellation, were created by Robin Slow and gifted by Robin & Rose Slow to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of Te Ataarangi in the Top of the South.

Robin Slow, Mohua based, renowned contemporary Māori artist has embodied his love for the whānau of Te Tauihu, his respect for the kaupapa of Te Ataarangi and his drive to share stories from Te Ao Māori with the wider world in the artwork series “Maramataka Matariki”.
